Bubble Tag

by Marcello Costa

According to the Proxemics theory, we're surrounded by a reaction bubble, an invisible space where social distance between individuals is related with physical space. The study of these spatial distances describes how people interact and communicate each other.

Bubble Tag project want to explore the possible intersections between the reaction bubble and a tag cloud. In this case, the structure of the cloud, that uses font-variations, match with the three dimensional space of the bubble to communicate with the body one’s personal interests.

#1 Solution

Print your tag cloud on common paper, mount the belt and wear it.

#2 Solution

The Bubble Tag belt is realized with the E-Ink technology, that consist in three components: E-Ink paper and Metronome driver chip embedded in a fabric belt, a docking station with a Gumstix single-board computer to upload dates from internet to the e-ink display.
