Jussi Ängeslevä
Holding MA in Audio Visual Media Culture from the University of Lapland in Finland, and MA in Interaction Design from the Royal College of Art, Jussi worked 2 years at the Media Lab Europe in Dublin as a researcher. Currently he is teaching at the University of Arts in Berlin and working as concept designer at ART+COM, Berlin. His field of specialisation is in physical and embodied interfaces and the merging of real and digital spaces.
His work has been presented internationally in events and venues such as Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography, Siggraph, National Institute of Health in Maryland, ZKM and Science Museum London. In the recent years he has received awards from Royal Society of Arts, National Endowment of Science Technology and Arts, and most recently together with Ross Cooper 2 Silver Awards from D&AD, High Commendation from Prix Ars Electronica and Gold Award from the Art Directors Club of Europe.
