Driving Chair

a project of Erik Scholz

The chair seems to move through a illumination of the ground beneath. If the sitting person bends forward the lightpoints will approach. Leaning back causes the opposite.

Technically there are two microswitches under the seat and the back. They control a servo motor which rotates a mirrorball. This ball is spotted with a halogen bulb lamp. The effect is a light-carpet under the chair.
