genoTyp for fingers

The first assignment of the class was to set the right state of mind to the general theme ahead, and to "techdox", and have a clear focus in the concept development.
In order to become aware of the core idea of a project and exclude any fancy effects that technology might provoke, we had to create something without tecnology that shows the most important idea.
The main idea of genoTyp is the genetic process. How is the genetic information (genotype) parsed to the child generation and how does an individual (phenotype) relate to its genotype.
In this case the form/individual is typography. This is not really important to understand the process but for me it is a pretty big part of genoTyp.
I desided to build an analog family tree. The user can put and mix genotypes as he wants and find the maching phenotypes using a color code.
Doing this by hand it is very easy to understand the genetic process.
