Öffentliches Ärgernis is an installation, that aimes the increasing amount of public space that is controlled by private interest.
starting point
Certain zones of public space are now insulated from the rest and put under private control, because what is happening there – the distribution and consumation of commodities in privately owned stores – has to be protected against other usage of the space. The only relationship possible in these places is that of seller and buyer. The space itself is commodified.
